Where It Started
After getting a degree in music from the University of Michigan, JD embraced his love of nature and travel and became a fine art photographer. After gaining commissions from Marriott Hotels and the University of Pennsylvania, his work began taking a new direction.
Going 3D
Always interested in new technologies, JD picked up 3D-modelling, 3D-printing, and began on a series of "3D Photographs". He started with using city data to create 3D-printed maps of the most beautiful skylines in the world. Now he is investigating creating organic shapes like water, rocks, sand and mountain ranges. His work pushes the boundaries of digital art.
