• This gallery displays photographs of unique rock formations from Big Bend National Park, Antelope Canyon, the Bisti Badlands in New Mexico, hoodoos from Bryce and Zion National Park, riverbeds carved by water, limestone sculptures from Thailand, and rare gems from a private collection.

What captivates me is the distinct way each mineral solidifies in the crust and is weathered away by the elements. Erosion is a big theme of this work as well.

The perspective I like is photograph from straight above a subject so it’s flat. It gives the rocky scene a painterly feel.
