• This gallery features images of the endlessly complex surface of water. The reflections and the splashes of water are truly one of the most unique aspects of the natural world.

Photographs were captured on the Florida coast, the Peruvian coast, the babbling rivers in Smoky Mountains National Park, still mountain lakes, and waves crashing against logs on Lake Michigan.

The viewer may notice that in my work the surface of water is flattened out so the image looks more 2-dimensional and graphic, like the surface of the water is the surface of a canvas. The minimalism of some plant or ripples on the surface is what gives me the strongest sense of awe.
